DOOR SUPERVISORS
The provision of Door Supervisors is a speciality of MTC Security Ltd. All of our Door Security Supervisors are trained to SIA standard required by Licensing officials, vetted by the relevant Councils and the SIA security industry. First impressions count and Door Supervisors are the first contact a customer has with your venue. It is therefore critically important that the initial contact is right. Security staff's appearance, manner and courteousness should impress the customer.
Appearance is vital, a smart door security team ensures your venue portrays the image you desire. We provide all our Door Supervisors with the correct uniform for each venue.
The MTC Security Ltd Management Team has a policy of personally overseeing each individual job at least once weekly, to ensure it is running smoothly and all parties involved are satisfied.

RETAIL SECURITY
Retail Security Officers have a very difficult and demanding job. MTC Security Ltd Officers all have integrity, can deal with change and manage any problems effectively. They are able to take confident control of any situations as and when they occur.
All of our officers are trained to work within the retail environment, they are aware of their own behaviour and how this determines the outcome of any situation or event.
MTC Security Ltd utilises store detectives to minimise shoplifting. They use their observational skills to identify the signs of attempted theft. All of MTC Security Ltd's store detectives often work in plain clothes and as part of a team to back up the uniformed security officers.

MOBILE PATROLS
Our Mobile Patrols are tailored to the client's requirements and are often used to carry out periodic checks on premises and equipment during the quieter times of the night (and weekends). The service provides early crime detection, and deters would-be criminals and vandals from attempting to gain access to premises. Typically, the pattern of attending the premises is kept random to prevent observers working out a predictable routine.
All of our Mobile Patrol vehicles are fitted with Vehicle Tracking systems, with their movement details passed onto our clients if requested. At present we provide Mobile Patrol officers to numerous businesses, corporations, sites and establishments throughout the Midlands.
All of MTC Security Ltd's Mobile Patrol vehicles are monitored by our 24/7 control centres, which are overseen by our Control Room Supervisors. The Supervisor is also trained to alert the appropriate people, including the emergency services and repair contractors, if there is an issue reported from a client's premises.
All of our Mobile Patrol operatives adhere to British Standard 7499 (Static Site Guarding & Mobile Patrol services) and are screened and vetted in accordance with British Standard 7858, and all hold a valid SIA Licence.

DOG HANDLERS
Dog Handlers are a vital asset to any serious security operation. They provide a very visible deterrent to even the most determined criminal.
If an intrusion onto your property occurs, our teams are trained to carry out searches of outside areas and inside buildings enabling them to locate any intruders. By using the Patrol Dogs' superior sense of smell and hearing the dogs are trained to detect any persons who might be hiding on your site and alerting the handler, the dog handler can then challenge that person and alert the relevant authorities.
MTC Security Ltd teams operate in line with the Guard Dogs Act 1975 which allows us to use dogs to guard your property provided that the dog is under control and that appropriate warning signs are up at site entrances. All our Patrol Dogs are trained to a high standard and are routinely assessed to ensure that these standards are maintained and they are safe and effective to be deployed operationally.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PATROLS
MTC Security Ltd offer this unique service in two ways.
Neighbourhood Patrol officers provide a serious security presence either within a residential area acting on behalf of the local residents or within a business area for example a city/town council or retail park.
MTC Security Ltd designed this unique service at a time when people are very concerned about local policing levels and the increase of crime in particular aggravated vehicle taking and burglary within residential areas. We can dramatically decrease the risk of these kind of incidents happening to you or your family. We do this by carrying out regular and random security patrols both on foot and from within our highly visible MTC Security Mobile Patrol vehicles. Dog Handlers routinely patrol alongside our Neighbourhood Patrol officers and are always on hand to provide back up if required. The presence of our Neighbourhood teams have a positive effect on all residents leaving you to feel completely content at home while we keep you safe. Residents or businesses subscribed receive a 24/7 number direct to our control room, someone is always on hand. We will patrol your property throughout the day and night carrying out ground searches and looking for any sign of disturbance or intrusion.
Our Neighbourhood Patrol Officers who work on behalf of councils and local administrations provide a visible security presence and offer practical solutions to many problems that can blight an area, for example antisocial behaviour and vandalism. Our Neighbourhood patrol teams are given specialist training for this role as they encounter a number of delicate situations which require advanced skills and knowledge as they are often dealing with very vulnerable people such as rough sleepers, beggars and persistent drug users. Our MTC security officers will approach these situations exercising compassion and ensure to offer practical advice and services. We also liaise with local charities and encourage them to accompany us out on patrol.
The role of security personnel has developed massively through the introduction of the SIA, thus giving security personnel the knowledge and ability to take on a wider variety and more community based roles.
